Usage
Adults 18 years of age and older: 5 mL every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not to exceed 6 doses (30 mL) in 24 hours. Oral solution: Each 5 mL contains codeine phosphate, 10 mg; promethazine hydrochloride 6.25 mg; in a flavor syrup base. Promethazine HCl and Codeine Phosphate Oral Solution is not recommend for use in pregnant women ,Prolong use of Codeine Oral Solution during pregnancy can result in neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome.
