Temazepam 10mg is a benzodiazepine (ben-zoe-dye-AZE-eh-peen) is use to treat insomnia (trouble falling or staying asleep).It can also be use to help you relax before an operation or other medical or dental treatments.
This tablet works by slowing down the central nervous system (brain), causing drowsiness which helps patients fall asleep. You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to temazepam. Similar medicines (such as alprazolam, diazepam, lorazepam, Ativan, Klonopin, Restoril, Tranxene, Valium, Versed, Xanax, and others).Temazepam can be taken by adults over the age of 18.
Poor sleep (insomnia) is fairly common but it does not usually last for long. If you have problems sleeping, it may mean that you have difficulty getting off to sleep, or you may wake up for long periods during the night. In addition, you may become addicted to temazepam. Addiction is different from dependence. You have an overwhelming craving for a drug, so that you feel compelled to take it even though it is harming you physically or affecting your life and relationships.
